Donations and payments
Donations, memberships and sponsorships are collected by HelloAsso, an approved French payment platform and cooperative that charges non-profits no commission on donations. No banking details are entered or stored on nimalay.org: payments take place entirely on HelloAsso's secure pages, which also issue tax receipts.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the text, photographs and graphic elements on this site are the property of the association Nimalay. Any reproduction or use, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.
Photographs showing children are published with the agreement of their families or legal guardians. If an image concerns you and you would like it removed, write to us and it will be taken down without delay.
Personal data
The contact form on this site collects your name, email address and the content of your message, for the sole purpose of replying to you. This information is never sold or used for commercial purposes, and is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Messages sent through this form are processed by Netlify, the site's host, acting as a data processor under the GDPR. Netlify stores them in our admin area and forwards them to us by email. No other provider is involved.
Under the GDPR and French data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you. To exercise it, write to contact@nimalay.org.
Donor and sponsor data is handled by HelloAsso as data controller for the collection: see their privacy policy.
Cookies and trackers
This site sets no advertising cookies and uses no audience-measurement tool.
Two external services are loaded by some pages:
- Google Fonts, for the site's typefaces.
- YouTube, in cookie-free mode (
youtube-nocookie.com), to play videos on the about page. No cookie is set unless you start playback. - Facebook, on the News page only, to display our post feed. This content loads only after you explicitly click the “Show the posts” button. Until you do, no request is sent to Facebook and no third-party cookie is set. Once the feed is shown, Facebook applies its own privacy policy.
The text and photos of our Facebook posts are also copied automatically onto the News page. Those copies are hosted on this site: reading them involves no exchange of data with Facebook.
